CUSTOM COBRA COMMANDER TOY FROM COBRA / GIJOE BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]

Those fans from the mid-80s and early-90s that are familiar with Cobra Commander will remember him as a rather clumsy top villain. It was usually Destro, Baroness and Dr. Mindbender that took care of business, while Storm Shadow was more of a hitman in my eyes.... and Zartan was always infiltrating and outsmarting the Joes, for a while at least. But there is one version of Cobra Commander that was really fierce, intelligent and lethal... it was from the cartoon movie titled: G.I. Joe Resolute, from 2009.

Anyway, the base body of this Cobra Commander toy was Marvel Legends Star Lord. I sculpted all of his silver & gray armor details, his mask, his gauntlets and his boots. Then I added a sword to his right hip and a handgun to his left hip. The belt glued across his chest was from the Casting Cave website. And his assault rifle was from ebay, while his cape came from Lady Thor. The tip of his cobra staff was sculpted, and it was added upon a plain staff that was taken from some fodder. CUSTOM BARONESS VER 2.0 FROM COBRA / GIJOE BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]

This is the second Baroness I've made and the first one is over HERE. And she was also shown with my custom Destro right HERE.

The base body for the Baroness was Marvel Legends Enchantress. And her hands and her head came from Mockingbird. I sculpted her top, her belt, her pouches, her boots and her gauntlets. Beyond the ones she's holding, her second set of handguns came from Star Lord and they are held via magnets at her thighs. There is a gun holster down at her left boot, And I also gave her an extra machine-gun, which isn't shown; so she has a total of six guns.

CUSTOM ZARANA TOY FROM COBRA / GIJOE BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]

Here's another new member of my cobra team! Zarana is the younger sister of Zartan [posted over HERE], and she also has a twin brother named Zandar [I haven't made a custom toy of him yet].

The base body of this Zarana toy was  Marvel Legends Lady Thor, while her arms came from the Hulkbuster Valkyrie. Her hair was sculpted from green-stuff and her body armor was sculpted from Milliput putty. Her guns were from ebay and the large M16 assault rifle was heavily customized. Her head and belt came from Tundra and her boots were sculpted, in the front side and behind. Her belt has sculpted pouches and some "grenade fodder" from Deadpool.

There is a pouch attached to the back of her belt via a magnet, making it removable. And two sub-machineguns are held via magnets at her thighs as well. She also has a special removable Arm Blaster affixed to her left arm, which had twin barrels and a central blade... you can see it better in one of the side-view pics. I did make her thick / thicc, per my personal preference.

She has five guns, one Arm Blaster and no swords, unlike the ninjas Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. Thanks for looking, don't forget to Like and Share!

    

   

ORIGINAL CHARACTER: ALPHA LIGER CUSTOM TOY [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE] BY DSNG!

Here's something I've been working on for a while. This is an Original Character; he is one of the DSNG villains, Alpha Liger!

The base body was Marvel Legends Erik Kilmonger. The lower legs came from demolition man. His batons were fully sculpted as were his armor pieces. And the head came from Star Lord. I pulled off Star Lord's hair and worked with a bald head. And his cool mohawk was sculpted, along with his mask and his "tiger stripes". Yet a Liger is a hybrid between a lion and a tiger; so this guy has incredible agility, along with electromagnetic powers.
He has two sets of hands [big clawed hands and smaller clawed hands], like the original base toy. And he had a custom machinegun made, but I didn't add it to the set of pics. Tamiya paints were used [flat black, gold and three coats of flat yellow], along with some markers for highlights applied here and there. Enjoy and Share!
