This is the second [and the updated third] fan art pics of Jazmine Dubois from the Boondocks cartoon, done in my DSNG art style. I drew her as a college student. But she's still recognizable, per her familiar afro-puffs. And I made her thick / thicc / phat / curvy / voluptuous etc. The first article I posted with the first set of Boondocks pics is over
HERE
The last two pics were tied to the period of Nike's 30th anniversary in 2018, when they elected Colin kaepernick as the head of their Ad campaign with the slogan "Believe in Something, even if it costs you everything".
Colin has been out of the NFL for about 2 years since the end of the 2016 season, following his kneeling protest to police brutality. during the playing of the National anthem before each game. Some other players on other teams started doing it to, but he was the face and starter of that movement.
Honestly, there is nothing wrong with kneeling, or standing, or sitting in your wheelchair, as long as you're respectfully still during the playing of the anthem, in those specific scenarios. But if "life is happening" as you stand with your cradled 2-year-old, then damn it, move and help that bald lil' baby; the world won't end because of it. And if you hear the anthem when you're driving past a building down the street, then just keep driving....
Duh
Colin was making a point, to raise awareness about racism and discrimination. Until you've experienced police brutality due to your skin color, you probably wouldn't understand... What can you do about it? For starters, just treat people right, as much as you can, regardless of the color of their skin... Just Do it.
Anyway, enjoy the art ;)
