THE ACCOUNTANT 2 [2025] MOVIE REVIEW - WHEN GIRL BOSS B.S. TAKES OVER A FRANCHISE

 If you want to see what it is like to have an unnecessary 90-pound Girl Boss inserted into a movie and given super-neuro-enhanced chess-playing & ass-kicking powers for no legit reason, then watch The Accountant 2 Movie.

Yes, there will be spoilers = you have been warned :)

The movie stars Ben Affleck [Batman] and Jon Bernthal [Punisher], who definitely didn't need the slim overpowered plus-ultra Girl Boss, played by Daniela Pineda. And this silent but deadly Latina literally has super strength and stamina, despite her small stature.

This one feels like a buddy-cop movie that consigns its two main leads to the gray area; since neither of them is a clean-cut upright officer of the law, and they both break the rules to get things done on the streets. Affleck is a mob-sponsored accountant with some sort of disorder [allegedly autism spectrum] that makes him a super-smart, antisocial, nerdy ultra-violent geek. And his brother Jon is a hitman for the mafia who works all over the world, for anyone that will write his check. And the two brothers reunite to find the killer of Ben's older friend and mentor, played by JK Simmons.

Plus Ben and Jon are helped along in their quest to find the truth by another semi-girl boss character... played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson, shown on the right... well, OK, she's not an annoying boss type, she is more of a skeptical go-by-the-book female buddy-cop, who tries to help you on your quest. And Cynthia seems to be genuinely amazed by the level of intelligence [and violence] that Ben employs, in order to gets his tasks done efficiently. 

And eventually, the sniper-killer of JK is tied to a band of Latin-American mafia thugs who are operating a long-standing child-kidnapping and child labor ring, and they also kill and bury the kidnapped kids or their parents in mass graves when they need to do so.

And apparently, the constantly stoic Girl Boss and her small Latin-American family [her husband and daughter] were broken apart by the mafia thugs many years ago. So after her car accident that damages her brain, and the neuro surgery that turns her into a bad-ass killing machine, the Girl Boss becomes a hired international high-level hitman, I mean hitwoman, and she is slowly hunting down those that destroyed her family, as her past memory seems to gradually return. And towards the beginning of the flick, she "works with" some assassins that kill JK Simmons as he leaves a bar, not for finding the whereabouts of her missing daughter, but for finding her... and that makes no sense, because she did want to find her missing daughter, whom Simmons showed her in an old picture as they sat together inside the bar [She and Simons are shown seated in the bar, in the pic on the left]. 

The excuse that the Girl Boss' memory about her daughter hadn't returned yet at this point in the bar scene is invalid, because the entire movie plays out in no less than 3 days; and by the third day, Girl Boss is holding the same picture that shows her late husband and her late daughter, as she grab a knife and gets set to avenge them and kill her final target.

The action scenes were fun, sometimes with fists and other times with guns and automatic rifles. And there are several 1-on-1 talking scenes that play out as short drama skits designed to draw you in, emotionally or psychologically... but they last for way too long, and some don't hit the mark, in this 2 hour 14 minute long action-drama-detective movie.

Some jarring / inconclusive stuff in the movie:
Near the end, Ben gets shot in the upper chest, and the bullet never gets taken out, and he is fine, less than 5 minutes later [or was it 5 days later? we're not told].
Ben Affleck's character gets the phone number of a hot black chick at a bar, and that goes nowhere.
Ben had a chance to kill the Girl Boss, who has been killing people throughout the movie, but he lets her go... so that she can go find her dead kidnapped daughter?? Or something??
Later, Girl Boss is helped by the good-cop woman Cynthia, whom she brutally beat up and stabbed, to find the coordinates in Costa Rica of the sponsor of the Girl Boss' kidnapped daughter's killer. That's a mouthful, but that's what they did in the damn movie. And Girl Boss finally gest her revenge... off camera, since the scene ends with her picking up a knife and walking after her half-naked male target [the old man had just gotten out of a shower, with a towel wrapped around his waist. And he couldn't be a strong young man that could fight her and kick her ass, because that would make her a Weak Girl Boss and destroy her strong narrative].
The movie also ends before the actually ending, and per the words of the two male leads in the final driving scene, they still had two places left to go.
-Sigh - You may like it, if you watch it on a lazy weekend afternoon. But sorry, I can't recommend this one.

CUSTOM HEMAN, SHERA, EVIL LYN AND SKELETOR TOYS - MASTERVERSE / MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE TOYS!

 All right, I wanted to post a combination of pics from my Mastervese toy collection. I've shared a few of these on Facebook and Instagram, while the rest are new pics. 

These are 7-inch scale toys / action figures. Some are customs, and some are standard / straight out of the box. Some of these figures are more posable than others, per their elbow and shoulder joints. And the regal-looking Keldor toy [Skeletor, before he became Skeletor] has very limited arm movements, at his elbow, per his shirt's sleeves. 

One of them is my fav; the Evil Lyn Custom with long white hair and the sly smirk. It's a combination of two toys, with the upper body from one, and the lower body / legs from another. Plus I gave her a curvy butt sculpt, which is hinted at, when she has her back turned to Heman, as she hypnotizes him... yes, that's what I intended for her to do in the pic, before she backs it up on him, and he just stands there, like a hard rock of Gibraltar LOL. Also, there are some comparison pics of two separate Evil Lyn toys [the custom and the standard one].

Currently there are more than 12 different Heman toy models on sale from Mattel. And more are still to come. But I have about 3, since I don't buy everything, just the stuff that I like. Yes, you really don't have to buy everything that toy companies sell to you ;) The last two pics show Keldor [Skeletor] with a head swap, so he has a gray goatie on his chin. And his twin swords came from ebay.

   

   

   

MORE FREAKIN' AI ART GETTING OUT OF CONTROL! FEATURING MARVEL AND DC COMICS CHARACTERS! - PART 2

 This is the second article that I'm writing on this topic... basically for laughs and entertainment.

Am I a fan of AI Art? Hell no. I don't care for all of that stolen awkward six-fingered bullshit ;). And that bubble is eventually going to burst, once the corporations run out of money to burn on something that's fundamentally anti-consumer and devious in its nature. 

Usually, when people use AI art, it's either because they have no time to create the core work, or no talent... or both. And AI must "steal the talent to draw" from humans, in order to create, because it has no talent, no soul, and no experience of its own.

But every now and then, the AI artists produce something that is actually quite entertaining. And that brings me to this post. Here are more screenshots from LordAres [his website is Here] , featuring DC Comics and Marvel characters - She Hulk, Ms. Mary Marvel, Rogue, and Wonder Woman. Lots of kissing and groping going on here, but luckily there's no nudity. This AI stuff will never become mainstream, because those comic companies who own the characters will want to get a cut of the profit, and they won't want to pay the AI artists a damn thing, for drawing the company-owned characters.

FREAKIN' AI ART IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL FOR THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE MOVIE!

 At this point in the year 2026, y'all should know that the internet is a great asset. But it is also the greatest time waster in human history, bar none.

So after seeing the new Masters Of The Universe 2026 movie trailer, I picked up my phone and I was browsing through Instagram last night. And while browsing, I... wait, first of all, the new trailer for the MOTU movie was cool, but it also slightly sucked... because they race-swapped MAN-AT-ARMS and made him black, for the sake of diversity and inclusion. And they left his daughter TEELA as white, while also Removing the real black guy on the team, CLAMP CHAMP... because he was too black. That is why DEI sucks... because they do stupid unnecessary things. Plus the other light-skinned Black Guy, ZODAC, was also noticeably absent, while TRICLOPS, a white redhaired villain, has now been made black.

You may not think that this shit matters, but it actually does - since someone in Hollywood is trying to sell you a bullshit agenda. And you have to be bold enough to reject it, and force them to create NEW CHARACTERS with whatever diverse features you desire, instead of corrupting the original ones = forced diversity, which never ends well.

If you don't reject their unnecessary race-swaps, then don't cry in the future, if they create a gay black Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman, [yes, all three join the LGB+ABCDEFG community], and then they tell you to shut up and take it, for the sake of bullshit diversity. Such a thing would not be right or necessary. And of course that won't happen, since the WB executives have all realized that "Go Woke Go Broke" is a reality.

 All right, back to the topic at hand. Last night, On Instagram, I found a link to some guy named LordAres, and he was posting a ton of short AI-generated videos, between 6 to 10 mins long, featuring Super-strong women and their regular nerdy boyfriends. And he had videos of some gals from the comic worlds of DC, Marvel, and also the Masters of The Universe... and I was blown away. Hence, for the sake of research, I went to his main website, and wasted more of my valuable time! LOL!

Man, I saw hot videos with Teela, Evil Lyn, and even Queen Marlena [Oh lawwd, that's Heman's Mama!]. The vids were all  PG -13, with no nudity. But they were certainly NSFW, per the kissing and groping that was going on.

So have I now become a fan of AI Art??? Hell no... But this stuff was nostalgic, entertaining & spicy as hell, so I just had to share it with my loyal fans, who like the original MOTU toys and cartoons!
