YOUNG JUSTICE - MISS MARTIAN

Commission poster of one of the female characters from the Young Justice Animated Series, which aired on Cartoon Network earlier this year. In that series, Miss Martian has a crush on Superboy, who is actually a clone based on the DNA of Superman. The first Season had just 10 episodes. Word is Season 2 of that series will be out sometime in the fall.

 


I was given the liberty to make Miss Martian look like a sexy mature redhead; thus I treated the Commission as a Concept Art project, giving her an alluring appeal along with a new costume. According to her bio from DC Comics, she's a shape-shifter; so her hourglass figure is understandable. Sometimes she is tagged as one of the Teen Titans. and I'm really not sure what DC plans to do with her, amidst their New 52 revamping efforts [which is a waste of time, in my opinion]. The only comic book that I strongly believe was worth a revamp, starting it over from Book #1, was the New Justice League by pro-artist Jim Lee...I placed his cover artwork in a previous article over HERE along with a ton of Justice League fan arts from other artists.
