These posters are commissions that I did over the past few years, featuring some Disney Princess characters redesigned / re-imagined. Yes, they look more mature / sexy / curvy etc. That's just my style. The Auora [sleeping beauty] pic was a quickie, I was in a hurry. But for the two Frozen posters featuring Anna and Elsa, I had more time and I added more details. The Tinkerbell pic is the oldest of the set, dating back to 2007.... and in the classic words of Sir Mix-a-lot, Baby Got Back...

TF4 TRANSFORMERS 4: AGE OF EXTINCTION - OFFICIAL POSTERS OF OPTIMUS PRIME!

The fourth movie in the "Bayformers" franchise will be coming out this summer, on June 27th 2014. I did some web surfing and realized that there are several concept art posters floating about, which are linked to the Autobots and Decepticons that will be featured in the forthcoming film. But the thing is, a lot of them are unofficial concepts. Hasbro / Paramount Studios are fond of hiring concept artists to come up with various designs that end up being combined or trimmed down.

The TF4 movie trailers on Youtube do give a glimpse of the actual robots that are featured in the movie, along with a few of the toys that have been showcased at national / foreign toy fairs so far. But I'm still going to wait on the art dump from Josh Nizzi [the main concept artist that did a host of the designs for the first 3 TF films. And a lot of his stuff is archived in this DSNG Blog, over HERE].

Today I'll showcase some cool past posters of Optimus Prime, which were never used in TF3 movie. And the only New / Official posters of Prime will be the ones that were utilized in the advertising posters shown on the Web shortly after the new trailers for the TF4 movie were released, about a month ago [the ones in which he is holding a giant broad sword].

 
  
Anyway, the current guessed names of the Autobot characters in TF4 are: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hound, Drift, Slingshot, Crosshairs, Ratchet


And the guessed names of the Decepticons are: Galvatron, Lockdown, Motormaster, Breakdown, Cyclonus, and MAYBE the other members of Menasor [a giant robot from the Transformers G1 cartoon series, which was comprised of 5 combining vehicles]

I could have sworn that there was a time that the rumor of "Nemesis Prime" was all over the internet, but that turned out to be the Bot tagged as possibly "Galvatron" or "Motormaster".

And here are the guessed Dinobots: Grimlock, Sludge, Strafe, Scorn and Slash. [Beyond the first two Bots, the other robots seem to be new / modified versions of the originals introduced back in the 80s, with the TF G1 cartoon series.] And BTW, no one is completely certain of whether or not the Dinobots will all be good guys... or maybe those who have joined "Movieleaks. co" will have some details to share with the rest of us!!!! LOL

DSNG CHARACTER FAN ART & CONCEPTS - AZZAR, CHEBEYAH, ETC

I don't post a lot of sketches from the drawing board, but today I decided to do this, just to show this stuff to some of the new fans of this manly blog... yes, this is a blog for guys [and some gals] that like comics, anime, hot chicks, sci fi action and explosions; and it was made by a guy that also feels entertained by those things :)

Anyway, the first fan art pic shows Prince Azzar and Chebeyah. And I've done several articles about them with colored posters, in the past.
Azzar is the main protagonist in the DSNG sci fi series, hence all of the tales in the 12 ebooks revolve around him and his associates. Azzar is an elite Alpha Senturi soldier and per his personality, he is quite unique; he is not a mild mannered Clark Kent kinda-guy, and neither is he a knock-off from Batman or a hot-headed snarky Wolverine. I'm proud to say that Azzar is unique, and per his super abilities, he can match up against the best of them.
Although there are five other super soldiers colloquially tagged as The Top 5 Centura elites, Prince Azzar isn't grouped among them. And that's not because he is inferior, but simply because he and his regal cousin, King Titron, are placed in a separate category. Azzar and Titron are tagged as the two most powerful beings on planet Avera, per comprehensive biothermal abilities such as speed, strength, flight, shield generation etc. But those who follow the story are aware that there are a host of other alien beings, like the Legendary Paragons and the Dinatours, who are more powerful than the regal cousins...

Now let's focus on the next character, a lovely female Kataran. Chebeyah is one of the Prince's associates, and she is actually the ex-girlfriend of Azzar's best friend - since Chebeyah was dating Commander Vince when the saga began. Later in the timeline of the series, Azzar and Chebeyah do start dating for a while, before some peculiar drama unfolds...

The last pic on the right shows a concept that I've been working on, for one of the alien races from planet Planoris, the icy world. Planoris is home to the Katarans [they are wolf-hybrid beings, like Chebeyah]. But that planet is also home to other wondrous races, like the giant Yetirons and the potent Dinatours [remember Ellystra, aka Elly, who was on the cover of DSNG book 6].
And another race that resides on Planoris is the Iglonoids, and that is the alien race that I was attempting to design on the right [or perhaps redesign, per lots of old sketches that I've never posted before]. Those fans familiar with the ebooks will probably recall a few names like "Rellia" and "A-Tron", who were presented in DSNG Book 10: Devious. And those two characters do hail from the mystic Iglonoid race.

Here is a brief reminder of the events in DSNG Book 10: Over on planet Avera, a female Scalatan CEO named Deelilah summoned Prince Azzar for protection and help, because of some threats she'd gotten from a guy named Darion Majors; that threat was linked to some Razerbacks - alien werewolves - that were on a rampage in the capital city. Thus Azzar was drawn into an explosive adventure, while Sargon [one of the Prince's mentees] was also involved with helping a sexy female Lizardian named Rebba.
But in that story, at the very beginning, over on planet Planoris both Rellia and A-Tron where showcased, as they entered into an alliance with some Kataran soldiers, in order to hunt down a certain four-armed assassin.

AVENGERS 2 MOVIE, BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS - [PECULIAR] COSTUMES FOR QUICKSILVER AND SCARLET WITCH

I'm a big supporter for originality and fluent designs. But after seeing the character costume pics that Marvel released today, I was rather... stunned, and somewhat ambivalent.
At this point, we all know that Scarlet Witch is going to be played by Elizabeth Olsen [remember the cute lil' baby girl called Michelle from the sitcom Full House? Well, Elizabeth is the younger sister of the twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who both played that little girl like matching stunt doubles].
And Quicksilver will be played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson [he was the lead actor in the rather controversial Kickass movies]. Anyway, I added the blur effect to the pic of Quicksilver below just to make it look cooler, since he's Marvel's version of Flash.

  


Take a close look at these movie costumes above, and compare them in your mind; and see if they really give you the right vibe. Personally I'm wondering if they are only going to be the "temp-gear" worn by Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver [while they are portrayed on-screen as new recruits], v.s. their final team-member costumes, kinda like what Captain America and Black Widow usually have on.

Beyond the crooked-left-leg pose that Scarlet Witch was displaying, I was also a bit concerned about the on-screen chemistry that  the director for Marvel's Avengers 2: Age of Ultron is going to create for these two new recruits. Remember that they are a brother & sister team; and that means the director Joss Whedon has a chance to make them a bad-ass fighting duo, or a creepy lip-locking couple [as is portrayed in one of the past Ultimate Avengers comic storylines].
Nevertheless, I hope to see more real costumes for the two new characters, since the attire that they have on in these behind the scenes photos look more like street clothes, as opposed to sleek combat gear.

SCI FI, FANTASY & COMIC FRANCHISES - INSPIRATIONAL NOTES AND BLATANT PLAGIARISM

I came across some Shera fantasy fan art the other day and it made me think about a few issues. A few years ago, I wrote an article on the distinct difference between Sci Fi and Fantasy, while giving several posters and examples of each genre [that article is over HERE]. Anyway, I'll build on those principles today, in this new article.

Every epic sci fi / fantasy saga usually has a well of inspiration that it draws from; and that means if you see a classic TV series like Lost in Space [it debuted back in 1968], then you don't have to look too far before you find Star Trek [debuted earlier, in 1966]. And if you saw a cartoon in the 80s called M.A.S.K. that  debuted in 1985, then you can be certain that there are other franchises that it drew inspiration from [namely G.I.Joe and Transformers, which both slightly predated M.A.S.K.].

You can consider Superman [from DC Comics] and Sentry [from Marvel Comics]; and this comparison lets you know that characters can be designed as alternate counterparts, with similar powers and different costumes.
Also, look up Blue Jay [Dc Comics], vs Hawkman. And when you do, you'll realize that DC Comics literally copied itself; alas, there are no restrictions when it comes to copying a great idea.

Additionally, when plagiarism gets out of hand, you have characters like Major Victory and General Glory. Who are those two patriotic guys you may ask? well, they are sloppy / poorly developed characters created by DC Comics in the 1940s, in order to compete with Marvel's Captain America.
 
Along those same lines, first we had the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, back in 1984; and after that, the Battletoads [1991], the Biker Mice from Mars [1993] and the Street Sharks [1994], were not far behind.

Honestly, when it comes to copying a successful franchise, it can basically be a hit or a miss; since success is not an automatic thing.

It's a known fact that true fans really respect originality and creativity; and it is rare that a copycat franchise will end up being far more popular than the original. Of course there is the debate between the success of the StarCraft video game series and Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game; since Warhammer and its alien races predate StarCraft, but the latter is more popular.

As for the DSNG Sci Fi Series, I've drawn inspiration from DragonBallZ and Starwars; and this relates to a having a vast sci fi setting with multiple planets and diverse alien races, along with the super soldiers that can fly and project fireballs at will. Of course the DSNG heroes and villains all have diverse personalities along with a plethora of abilities. And since DSNG is presented as a series, the concepts can go on and on, while evolving to fit diverse media channels.

There is nothing wrong with having healthy competition, although plagiarism is the woeful pitfall that all creators have to avoid, when they make their Original Characters and their new franchise ideas.
Yet I will encourage all artists and writers to do this:

THE SLIGHTLY PERVERTED NATURE OF STAR WARS - A MESSAGE TO BOOK WRITERS AND COMIC CREATORS

Relax guys, this post will be brief and entertaining. And despite the heading, I wanted to focus upon the importance of writing and creating fully fleshed out stories, before new ideas are pushed forth into various channels of the media. There are several comic artists / writers and creators that follow this blog. I wanted to encourage you guys and tell you to never give up on your dreams. Additionally, if George Lucas could make it and have a blockbuster franchise, then that is proof that hard work really does pay off.
 
Now onto the main issue at hand; George probably did not focus on his overall series writing / the entire story idea development, when he started filming his original 3-part sci fi saga.
The reason I say this is because there has always been an underlying trail of confusion and bewilderment in the minds of Star Wars fans, when they saw Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back [circa 1980] and right after that, there was Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, presented in 1983.
 
The thing is, in the 1980's movie, Luke and Leia get to make-out / swap spit, kiss etc. And in the very next movie, George Lucas had the balls to let everyone know that Luke and Leia were brother and sister....... WTF??? Well that's the sort of thing that happens when a saga isn't fully written and fleshed out, before the ball gets rolling on a movie.

Hate to make this comparison, but video game fans from the 90s are aware of the blockbuster video game franchise called Street Fighter [Hadoooken!!!]. Yes, that brings back lots of memories from the SNES days. But honestly, all the guys who played that game in the 90s are fully aware that there has NEVER been a good Street Fighter Movie - and one of the reasons for this is that the original SF concept was never fleshed out fully, in order to create a linear story that could be placed in a book, or even in a film. Street Fighter almost falls more into a "Choose Your own Adventure" tale, rather than a "feature film" tale. Hence, the concepts of the Street Fighter characters are cool, but they are just not coherent.

The point is, as a writer / creator, you need to take your time and create strong foundations for your characters. This will ensure that future conversions [from comics to cartoons, or from books to movies, etc] will flow smoothly. And that will make things easier for you and for those that license your ideas. And most importantly, it will keep you from making your "Luke and Leia" to passionately kiss each other :)

EXPLORING DSNG PART 21 - GERIVA AND THE AVERAN WORLD MAP!

There are 7 major planets  in the Makuran Galaxy: Erion, Avera, Taran, Macur, Scalata, Planoris and Entrados. And each world has its own unique climate, topographic variances and unique alien races. I've done articles in the past that feature glimpses into the indigenous peoples and cultures of Planoris, Scalata and Entrados.

Anyway, Planet Avera is the focal world in the DSNG sci fi series. And today I'll present a World Map of Avera that I drew a long time ago, which I utilize when writing the sci fi ebooks.

Planet Avera is tagged as an ultramodern / Neo-Roman society, having a monarchy over the politicians and the unified military. And Avera has 6 Continents, which are tagged as Mega States. And the 6 Mega States are: New Romania,  New Davenport, South Philadelphia, North Philadelphia, Lavernia and Dalterland.

There are various independent warlords that reside in all of these continents, and those Lords of the Land are independent of the main monarchy, which resides in the Imperial Palace. And the Imperial Palace, which hosts Prince Azzar, King Titron and others, is located in New Romania - the Capital Mega State of planet Avera.

In the World Map of Avera, the white-painted regions represent frigid areas, while the light-brown patches are desert regions. The gray regions are mountainous, and green is fertile low land. The major seas are also shown in the map, such as the Merisanic Sea.
On the map, there are various regions tagged as x-1, x-2, x-3, etc. And those are islands, which are located close to certain continents. If you read DSNG Book 11, in Chapter 79, "The Bronzeville Islands" are mentioned. And that corresponds to the location of x-3, on the Averan World Map.

The 6 Mega States all have various Districts [you could almost view them as massive cities], as listed below. And if you're familiar with the ebooks, some of these listed locations will ring a bell within your mind.
Note: the Capital District / the most prominent city of each Mega State is listed first, in bold font.

1. The Districts of New Romania:
Armania, Austria, Lyberia, Virginia, Kardenia

2. The Districts of New Davenport:
Rochester, Midsterport, Rockenburg, Cadenport, Concordia

3. The Districts of South Philadelphia:
Luxemburg, Southbank, Cleveland, Sarmali, Bronzeville 

4. The Districts of North Philadelphia:
Haydenburg, Europa, Poland, Gamerville, Burkehaven

5. The Districts of Lavernia:
Silvernia, Cartersville, Artica, Kamfort

6. The Districts of Dalterland:
Caldernia, Mahajah, Dalzeria, Tanzara

Organization and structure is key when creating a saga, so it's ensential that I have details like this archived on my computer. I've even got smaller maps of each District region - but I'm not showcasing those smaller maps today, since I'm still tweaking them, to create the precise bays and cliffs that are listed in the story.

THE MOST POWERFUL MEMBER OF THE X-MEN IS....

There are lots of prominent X-men, good and bad: Colossus, Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast, Magneto, Juggernaut, the list goes on. When you think of raw power, you also have to undoubtedly consider the Hulk - he may not officially be one of the X-men, but he's an honorary Avenger. And the various members of the Marvel super-teams always move about and team up, every now and then.
  
Marvel Comics and [DC Comics as well] have never been known to fully honor any sort of strict "code of power levels", so often a certain character will stand out in one particular storyline and beat up all of his opponents; while in another storyline, that tough guy will end up getting pounded into the ground, by an average super-opponent. And that capricious issue often makes it difficult to incisively highlight the toughest X-man on the roster of X-men.

But honestly, the most powerful member of the X-men is not really a man. It's a woman. And that person is Storm [aka Ms. Ororo Munroe].
Now think with me... No mortal can take a heavy bolt of lightning into their eyeball [channeled consistently for 60 seconds], and live.
No man can walk through an incoming tornado with wind speeds that exceed 500 miles per hour and remain unharmed. And there are a host of other elemental powers, ranging from giant hail, to aquatic storms located out at sea like maelstroms, which Storm can generate. Imagine what would happen to an entire city, if Storm rained down giant frozen rocks that were the size of bulldozers? That feat shouldn't be too hard for her, since she can manipulate the elements, not just lightning.
 
It is said that tasers use about 50,000 Volts, but with a very limited / brief current. Now imagine 50 Million Volts, channeled at a mans chest for an extended period. Storm can do that with ease, if she chooses to do so. And not even Thor can play with lightning, without his puny hammer.

I can't give you a reason why Marvel and DC notoriously marginalize / belittle certain "A Class" characters and treat them as if they were weaker "B Class" characters [BTW, think of Batman vs Robin Boy Wonder, if you want to know an obvious A and B Class comparison].

Nevertheless, I still strongly feel that Storm is in an elite class all by herself. Even Cyclops [who has eyebeams that are more powerful than those of Superman] has never really stood out in the comics as a powerful "A Class" character, although he has that potential.

As for Storm and the way her powers are poorly presented in the Marvel storylines, perhaps it's due to a bias linked to gender, or race; or maybe it's just poor writing or horrible editing. I dunno. But I do know that regardless of the way Marvel portrays her in the comics / cartoons, Storm is still the most powerful member of the X-men team, not in terms of her muscles, but in terms of her comprehensive abilities and destructive potential. Figured I'd do a fan art of Storm [shown above], as my first poster of the year.

A NEW YEAR BEGINS - SEXY SCI FI ART AND MELYSSA FORD'S BOOTY

The header says it all. I'm not going to give you a lengthy philosophical speech today, narrating the importance of things like new year resolutions, loosing the weight you gained over thanksgiving last year, or doing something brand new and flashy in 2014.
All of that stuff is good, but it's not as important as these two points: Learn to love and accept yourself. And never give up on your dreams.

Now lets move on to the other issues on the table. Although I've written 12 ebooks, I plan to write lots of DSNG ebooks this year... and I hope to draw more sci fi related art, linked directly to DSNG. Drawing Superman, Powergirl and Supergirl is good, but drawing my Original Characters is even better for me. Plus I've found a few new models online, whom I can use as references for my female characters like Elena, Yatalia, and Sam.
And speaking of models, there was a time before iphones and smartphones in the early 2000s when people purchased sexy model wallpapers and ringtones for their Razor flip-cellphones. And at that time, there were several urban magazines [Like King and Blackmen Magazine], which showcased a popular Hip-hop video model named Melyssa Ford, who is of mixed heritage.
BTW, Buffie the Body was also popular at that time; and she is shown below.

  
Remember Jadakiss and his "Knock yourself out" music video, back in 2001?  Well Melyssa was the featured model in that classic video.
And now, fast-forward to 2014; and Melyssa is back in a Reality Show on Cable TV called Blood, Sweat and Heels. And it features her and some girlfriends trying to make it in NYC. Honestly, Melyssa has always been known as a chaste disciplined young lady, who didn't mess around with the rappers that she was seen in the videos with. She's always been classy and apparently she has a fetish for collecting high heels...  
Don't worry about who else is on the reality show. There are roughly 5 other chicks along with Melyssa, but trust me: "Ain't none of them as hot as her" - LOL.

I'm probably not going to keep up with the TV show, but I will keep up with Melyssa, and see what she's up to this year....

SUPERMAN IS DATING WONDER WOMAN - SNU SNU TIME! LOL

So amidst the other insignificant events flowing from the aftermath of the New 52 relaunch that took place roughly 2 years ago, there are a few lasting storylines that have spawned their own comics in recent times. And along that trend, Superman and Wonder Woman are now formally dating, although they have been keeping it private. And they tend to make-out and swap spit a whole lot [as shown in the kissing pic on the left]. And in Superman / Wonder Woman issue #4, the secret is finally out, about the covert love relationship between Clark and Diana.

I did an article a few years ago that listed the many girlfriends of Batman, who is a certified billionaire playboy [that article is over HERE].
And unlike Bruce Wayne, who is clearly a player, Clark Kent has always been mild-mannered and gentle, almost like a good little boyscout. But now the boyscout from Krypton is probably doing "the nasty" / "the dance with no pants" with an Amazon princess.
And according to Futurama fans: HOTDAMN! SUPERMAN AND WONDER WOMAN ARE  DOIN' THE SNU SNU!! :)
 
I truly can't imagine what it would be like for a male alien demigod and an super-female Amazon to make love.... But putting those uncensored imaginations aside, I'm more concerned about the current Superman and Wonder Woman comics. Of course DC Comics will keep it PG-13. But if they intend to turn it into a mushy soap-opera based on concepts like: "our love is so deep, it is stronger than evil" or "today, I think he loves me, or he loves me not", then the entire series will crash faster than a speeding bullet, due to dwindling comic sales.
Traditionally, comics have been predominantly bought by fan boys [although there are lots of lovely geek gals out there, like those who read this blog]. And most male fans actually buy comics because of the dynamic action & adventure tales. The guys do enjoy the romance, as long as the art is fantastic and they like the male & female couple. But if the entire story over several books is watered down into a tender soft soap-opera, then it tends to be a turn-off to the guys.

Perhaps DC Comics is aware of this issue [they should be, after being in business for over 50 years]; therefore, they have released the cover image of Superman / Wonder woman #6, which shows General Zod and Faora, fighting against the Kryptonian boyscout and his Amazon girlfriend. But that's in issue #6; and issue #4 will be hitting stores in the next few weeks, on January 15, 2014.
So will the entire series keep fans entertained? I dunno; guess we will have to wait and find out....

EXPLORING DSNG - PART 20: AZDA, CINDERAH AND ZELINDA!

In this post, I'll briefly talk about three beautiful ladies from the DSNG sci fi series.
The first is Azda Makeshdag, the second is Cinderah Kha'Lin and the third is Zelinda Denzo. These three ladies are featured in the latest DSNG ebook [DSNG Chronicles Book 11, which was launched last night, over here at Amazon.com!]

 
 
BTW, the lady shown on the cover of DSNG Book 11 is Yatzat, and the "t" at the end of her name is silent.

If you've been keeping up with this Overview series of blog articles, then you've actually met Azda before, about 2 years ago. She is the mother of King Titron [the lascivious monarch of planet Avera] and she is from planet Entrados, the Steampunk world. Azda is an ex-gladiator and she is a strong-minded lady. Azda was first presented in DSNG Book 1, so she's quite a notable character. And Azda is 10-times stronger than She-Hulk, since she is gifted with super-strength and agility - although she can't fly. Since Azda is from the Steampunk World, planet Entrados, she has orange skin; and most of people from that planet have either red skin or blue skin. And the Lizardians also hail from that world, which is run by the infamous Red Witch.
Azda is a veteran martial arts trainer, an she plays a major role in DSNG Book 11.

Next, we have Cinderah; and she is a female Kataran hailing from the icy world, planet Planoris. Clearly she was designed to be thick / sexy / phat / curvy / voluptuous etc. And in terms of her personality, Cinderah is very laid-back and she is rather secretive. Cinderah is a powerful female Kataran, and she is an ex-MMA champion.

Actually, you've met other female Katarans in the past, since I've done articles on Wandah and Chebeyah, who are regular characters that pop up in the DSNG sci fi books.
Cinderah is an NCI operative, thus she works as a senior Federal Agent in the Organized Crime Division. She first showed up in DSNG Book 10, when Azzar was hunting down the razerbacks / werewolves, while he also battled a super-strong villain known as The Tank. But if you recall some of the brisk details within DSNG Book 6, that volume [with the cyborgs on planetoid Darosa] contained one of the earliest mentions of Cinderah - and it was Yatalia that mentioned her, while Yatalia was arguing with Vince.
Anyway, Cinderah has a strong crush on Prince Azzar, and they both go out on a hot date in the latest volume, Book 11.

The last female in the trio is Zelinda, and she is a neurosurgeon with a lovely hourglass figure. Plus she makes her first appearance in the latest ebook. Perhaps the best words to describe Zelinda are "crazy, sexy, cool", since she often comes across as a bubbly dumb-blonde, even though she is super-smart. She loves to joke around and she trully is blessed with the gift of youth, since she is older than Prince Azzar [the main protagonist in the DSNG sci fi series], yet she looks like she's younger than him.
Zelinda hails from planet Erion, where there are animan characters like Mieka, the wife of the suave mob boss Jut-Hun, who hails from a panther species [Mieka was shown previously in This Article].
Zelinda loves to flirt, and she is fond of grinning broadly and saying hilarious things.
And Zelinda is a character with a very peculiar past... yet she keeps her past as a highly guarded secret, while she works as a veteran surgeon. She and Azzar also meet in the book, but under very chaotic circumstances....

There are other returning characters like Fadiya Blackthorn and her huge elder brother Farooq [from the evil superhero family known as the Blackthorns], whom I could have drawn and added to this article... just didn't have the time to do so. But they are featured in the latest ebook!

WOLVERINE VS. IRONMAN VS. SUPERMAN [MAN OF STEEL] - WHO WOULD WIN?

They are the ultimate dream-team, the super triple threat, and perhaps the best Special Forces Super Team that could ever be assembled in the mind of a hardcore comic fan. Regardless of your likes or dislikes, you have to respect them, individually. But when you put them together, these three guys could be viewed as an unstoppable triad: Superman, Ironman and The Wolverine. Two MARVELous characters and one representative of the DC Nation.
 
Yeah, they'd make an incredible team. But on the other hand, if you could place them all in a vast arena like the Colorado plateau beside the Grand Canyon [over in Arizona] and ask them to go at it until we have the Last Man Standing, then who would really win the all-out brawl??

At the Box Office, Ironman reigns supreme; and he's got an army of remote controlled armored-robot-suits that can answer his beck and call. But honestly, without his armored exoskeleton suit, he is a mortal man, void of special powers.

Wolverine is also a mortal, but he's got a peculiar thing called the healing factor, which helps him to practically cure himself from all of his internal and external injuries. Plus his adamantium endoskeleton comes in handy every now and then.

Superman is the only alien in the mix. And while he has the power to literally leap over skyscrapers [or just lift them out of the way], he is almost invulnerable. I say almost, because he is still limited by respiration requirements, and therefore he can suffer from asphyxiation - he can run out of oxygen.

But once the bell rings, what would happen? Here is a brief clip of my envisioned battle:
Tony Stark would be brazen enough to attack both of his foes simultaneously. Wolverine would be knocked down but he'd able to recover from the repulsor rays that pound into his chest, while Superman outruns the heat-seeking mini-missiles that Ironman would send after him. Next the two guys that can fly would be battling in the sky, trading heavy blows; and the first person to get knocked down into a mountain would become prey for the Wolverine. And Superman truly won't be able to regrow a hand that gets hacked off by adamantium claws. Since he is wearing an armored suit, Ironman can probably take the most immense pounding once the other guys gang up on him; but Tony has some laser-styled weaponry that can easily lacerate flesh and cut off their arms and legs. But if Superman gets angry enough to use his ice-breath and eyebeams as a lethal-combo, then he can freeze the leaping Wolverine in mid-air, before blasting off his head with his heat vision, unleashed at a wide angle. And once his suit's power-cell is down to 10-percent, Ironman truly is nothing more than a playboy in a heavy metal tuxedo. Perhaps that would be the time for Tony to pull out some kryptonite-coated brass knuckles....

I could keep going on and on. Perhaps the battle would be easier to debate, if there were two rather than three opponents. But on the other hand, I think you probably know who would win this battle. Yeah, they're all Alpha Males. And they are all incredibly strong.
But only one of them has the "hope symbol" on his chest.... 

FEMALE SCI FI / FANTASY CHARACTER CONCEPT DESIGNS - PART 4

I've gathered a few more concept art posters and wallpapers from around the Web. They showcase mostly fantasy armor concept designs for female warriors, including light knight armor, light exo-suits, mecha, heavy armor, future policewomen, barbarians, and other sleek battle armor.
And some costumes are just skimpy bikinis, added for the horny fanboys who only view this blog so that they can see pics like that.... BTW, the original name of the first pic on the left was "Spider Woman". Not sure why the artist from Asia chose that name; and don't ask me why he drew the skeletor panties on her LOL
